Serra Retreat: Retro Update
This stunning 50’s Post & Beam home needed a fresh approach to the front entry driveway, several bedroom patios and two dated bathrooms. We started by removing the existing baths & patios, upgrading the materials and integrating contemporary elements.
The baths were redesigned using Heath wall tile and slate flooring, custom vanity cabinets with granite counter tops, a frameless window with acid etched privacy glass, custom frameless shower enclosures and Dornbracht bath & finish hardware.
For the bedroom patios, we created private sitting areas by matching the existing timeless fencing detail and placing new exposed aggregate concrete hardscape. Finally, we re-introduced mature landscaping and custom hand-carved wood benches to amplify the curb appeal of this Serra Retreat classic!
